Moscow - Touring the Russian Capital from the Moskva River

Moscow was founded in the 12th century along the Moskva River, which flows through the Russian capital.  A boat trip on the river gives a tourist the most impressive and most scenic views of the Russian capital.  From the river you can see the Kremlin, which has been the center of political power for centuries. Orthodox Christian cathedrals with their characteristic domes can also be seen from the river. The boat ride brings you past Moscow’s famous university and Gorky Park, a place where the population of Moscow hangs out in their free time.
